What Pride looks like at Work

What Pride looks like at Work

At Galent, Pride is not observed as an isolated event. It is part of a broader commitment to workplace equity—where inclusion is not performative, but built into the fabric of how we operate.

In June 2025, Galent offices across India activated Pride Month with intention: designing experiences that gave employees space to be seen, express identity, and connect in meaningful ways. The result was a collective reflection of culture in progress—one shaped by participation, creativity, and quiet advocacy.

Through color, creativity, and conversation, teams across Galent reflected what inclusion feels like when it’s not a program, but a practice. In every location, the message was consistent: when people are free to bring their full selves to work, culture gets stronger.

Full-Spectrum Participation: Dress the Rainbow

From bold reds to serene violets, our offices turned into living rainbows as employees came dressed in the colors of Pride. Teams went all out, pairing creativity with colour in a spirited competition – bonus points went to those who represented the full spectrum!

This Is Me: A Personal Desk Gallery

In a celebration of individuality, employees were encouraged to personalize their desks as a reflection of identity.Under the theme “This is Me,” Doodles, pride flags, photographs, affirmations, memory objects, and cultural symbols transformed everyday workspaces into galleries of self. This simple gesture became one of the most powerful symbols of belonging—demonstrating that visibility is often most impactful in the everyday.

️Symbols That Carry Meaning

The Galent ones received a limited-edition Pride-themed badge. More than a keepsake, it served as a wearable commitment to equity and inclusion.Throughout the month, these badges became shared visual markers of belonging—pinned during team meetings, worn in hybrid check-ins, and exchanged across roles and regions.

Voices from the Inside

A key part of this year’s observance was the amplification of employee perspectives. In short video snippets, employees across functions and identities shared what Pride means to them—at work and beyond.

“It’s about the freedom to be authentic—without editing who you are to fit in.”

“Belonging is not about conformity. It’s about being welcomed as you are.”

Looking Ahead: Inclusion as Culture Infrastructure

Pride at Galent is not a campaign. It’s a checkpoint in a longer journey. A reminder that inclusion is not a single action or awareness month—but an evolving system that demands listening, learning, and leadership.

As we move forward, we remain committed to building spaces where everyone—across identities and lived experiences—has room to contribute, to be heard, and to lead.
